Programs:
- PDO is currently committed to Health program in District Swat with the authorization and coordination of government. PDO is facilitating communities in Hepatitis-B prevention and saving thousand lives. The program started July 2010 and 4000 children were given with vaccination on Hepatitis-B. The target area is schools and the in second stage PDO will consider community based intervention.
- PDO is responding to recent flood emergency in Pakistan. Million of people displaced, died and lost their livelihood completely. People are in need having no life facilities and access to needs. Diseases are erupted and people are in trouble and need medication along with food and clothing.
PDO is committed to the action and actively involved in relief and emergency response activities. PDO is generating funds by charity campaigns and supporting these flood victims. PDO provided food items to 70 families in Shangla and kohistan. PDO established is field offices in Besham, Swat to reach IDP’s and the teams are involved in assessment of the losses.
PDO is required funds to reach these victims communities more properly and with emergency standards.
